Project Name: Chesteazze
Description: My product is a vest designed for children with a chest infection. The pocket on the chest area is for a removable heat pad. The heat pad can be heated in the microwave and aromatherapy oils are added. Together with the soft polar fleece material, this gives comfort to the child.

Project Name: Cube Dining Set
Description: A cheap and affordable dining table and chair set. Designed to take up the least amount of space as possible manufactured from medium density fibreboard and inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Project Name: Doodle Pillow
Description: I have designed this pillowcase because I thought it was a good idea in case some kids want to write down their dreams or ideas whilst in bed. This idea is designed for the younger generation, but can be used by other age ranges.

Project Name: Abstract Lamp
Description: My lamp is a tangible fusion of both modern architecture, and also traditional materials. Sourced from concept buildings, the lamp is the accumulation of 21st Century engineering and product design. It successfully illuminates the office room, and it was manufactured as many 'high street' lamps are uninspiring and aesthetically unpleasing.

Project Name: Collapsible Wine Rack/Drinks Table/Tray
Description: The product I designed was collapsible so that it could be stored easily when not in use. The whole unit can also be used as a drinks table or tray which again is space saving.

Project Name: Graphic Table
Description: My product consists of a coffee table with an original twist. When folded upright, the product is simply a blank canvas with a vinyl pattern on it. However, when this ‘picture’ is folded down, it acts as a coffee table with a metal wire to hold the table's weight, whilst acting as a modern feature.

Description: I designed my desk tidy to represent a city sky line as most commercial desk tidys have little decoration and look boring.

Description: A torch designed to remain focused on the same work area even when moved around or not held. My product was designed as a response to problems encountered by tradespeople.

Description: I designed the ‘Furry Bookcase’ for young children to help interest them in reading books. This scale model prototype was inspired by animals, and covered in bright red furry material for safety.

Description: The product incorporates a dragon theme to a guitar and the stand. This design has a purpose of showing that instruments can be given a certain design theme with complimentary colours and is still able to function as it does.

Description: This product is designed for the storage of 5 pairs of shoes, and is suitable for production in small batches.

Project Name: Zippy Dress
Description: I designed this dress, made out of zips and coloured silks, because in fashion today, there aren't any dresses which stand out as being original that I would wear. My dress is unique, because it's made out of zips, and when you pull the zip heads upward, different coloured silks are revealed.

Eco-Friendly Objects & Design Ideas

Project Name: MultiBoxEco
Description: My product is a multi-functional, eco-friendly piece of storage/shelving that can be presented on the wall or stacked up. It is made from corrugated card that I have re-used from cardboard packaging. I laser cut many layers, then stuck them together with glue. I designed this because I think that it is a unique idea.

Project Name : Candy Coat
Description: I have designed this raincoat out of recycled materials because there have been many issues in the news recently about being more eco-friendly. Recycling paper, glass and tin cans isn’t enough to reduce carbon emissions, so therefore we should take further actions and produce clothes out of recycled materials too.

Project Name: Vague Stool
Description: Inspired by the Japanese Wave, my stool was designed for my GCSE Exam. The stool's waste is re-used to make 2 x childs benches and 1 x footrest. The picture is a prototype I made from MDF, but in industry it would be made from re-used wood, to add to its eco-friendly aspects.

Description: This is a model of an Eco Friendly House. It has been designed as an idea for future generations, to suit their lifestyle and living needs. The house has been made with materials that are recyclable and inexpensive.

Project Name: Recycled Windchime
Description: Helping to reduce global warming by recycling reusable items is a big issue in today's society and one which I feel strongly about. It is with this in mind that I have designed this unique windchime. The Winchime is made from recycled bottle tops and the ring pulls from cans.

Description: My product is multifunctional,eco-friendly piece of house furniture. It is a coffee table and a magazine rack. My product was made by designing a 2d shape, having this cut many times by a laser cutter and glueing together these layers to make a 3d piece. It is made from MDF.
