Categories

Awards will be given for the most innovative and practical product ideas and designs in the following categories:
  • Products for the home or garden
  • Products for people – consumer items
  • Eco-friendly objects or design ideas

There will also be a “Designer of the Year” award for the designer of the best overall product, design or idea in the competition.

The judges will also consider any entries of truly outstanding design that fall outside of these categories – so don’t feel constrained!

Prizes

The winner of each category will receive a fantastic Pure “The Bug Too” DAB Digital Radio designed by Hemingway Designs.

The overall “Designer of the Year” winner will also receive a £500 cash prize for their school’s Design & Technology department.

And it doesn’t end there. All winning entries will be asked to exhibit at the show itself where their work will be seen by the public, media and design professionals. Winners will also receive extra invites to the VIP Awards Presentation on 18th June.

In addition, all pupils who submit entries will receive free entry to the show from 19th–22nd June 2008.
