Taking inspiration from the built environment Aisling’s work concentrates on the colour, texture and marks she sees to create large scale art pieces. The quality of her drawing is translated through screen printing and digital printing to produce work ideal for domestic and corporate spaces.
Combining soft pastels, pencils and paint Aisling’s drawings are considerate of colour and have a spontaneous quality. By working to a large scale it allows us to see the quality of the material, highlighting areas of particular interest within each piece. Aisling is keen to be involved in commissioned work. She is currently working with Lime, an arts for health organisation, designing ward curtains for the redevelopment of Central Manchester Hospitals.
