Sallyanne Lowe, London based jewellery designer, studied goldsmithing at the Royal College of Art. With a background in architectural model making, her jewellery explores ideas of scale and miniaturization by turning heavy weight stone masonry and architectural details, painstakingly into tiny silver carvings with the finest detail. These then hang from neck chains, earrings and bracelets or are used for the mounts for gem stone rings.
Always made with the finest cratfsmanship, Sallyanne uses gems, including modern ‘prism’ and ‘laser’ cut amethyst and tourmaline slices to give her pieces a contemporary twist.
Her latest collection is showcased for the first time at the Design Show Liverpool.
