“Helen Chatterton is designer/maker based in Liverpool.  She makes luxury cushions and scarves in a luscious range of colours.  Perfection of Production was formed in October 2004, as a result of commissions after Helen had completed her City and Guild in Creative Studies at Huddersfield Technical College.

Her velvet cushions are hand-crafted from dress velvet, stitched with a unique pattern (registered design), producing an amazing range of colours with a lustrous finish.  She launched a silk-dupion collection in April 2006, a vibrant tweed/velvet collection in September 2006, which was Highly Commended in the Gift Association’s Gift of the Year 2007 competition.

Together with the full range of cushions, including a new Floral Lawn collection, Helen’s scarves and stoles in velvet, silk and tweed will be on sale. Also on sale will be smaller items such as lavender bags and buttons, all made from the remnants of fabric used in her cushions and scarves. 

Her work is available in shops and galleries nationwide, including the Bluecoat Display Centre in Liverpool.  Helen continues to make beautiful and useful items which she hopes will give the users pleasure for years to come.”
