Onagono is an ethical fashion label dedicated to using high quality organic materials and fair-trade practices. The designs are stylish and accessible.
After working for several talented fashion designers, including YMC and Zakee Shariff, Onagono’s founder, Tomomi Kojo-Robertson, was inspired to create something new that reflected her own thoughts and originality.
The initial idea came in 2003 when Tomomi recognised that the unfair trade of seed cotton was a situation in which she could make a difference.
Onagono’s ethical policy:
o Onagono is a FairtradeĀ® Licensee since June 2007
o The garments are made by an ISO certified manufacturer in India
o Using only 100% FairtradeĀ® organic cotton
o The swing tag and catalogue are made from more than 50% recycled material¬
Onagono’s collection has been sold through retailers in 7 countries and is gradually increasing its customer base worldwide.
Onagono unites fashion, art and ethical issues.
