As Liverpool enjoys its status as European Capital of Culture 2008, I celebrate my twentieth anniversary as a jewellery designer in the City. This is my adopted home and its vibrant character has often inspired my designs especially as it currently undergoes so much regeneration. Recently I have explored its wealth of buildings to design jewellery for the “Shock of the New” exhibition in 2005 at the Bluecoat Display Centre and researched the collection of the Lady Lever Art Gallery for the “Objects of Desire” exhibition held there in 2006.
Commissions for jewellery are welcome and visitors to my studio are able to see the processes involved in the making of their pieces. The majority of my work is made in silver and gold but I also use semi and precious stones and materials such as wood, plastic, copper and aluminium if it suits my intentions.
My jewellery can be viewed at the Mersey Jewellers and Metal Artists Network Stand.
