Melissa Simpson

Since leaving Cordwainers College where Melissa trained as a leatherworker,she has gained 21 years experience in the handbag trade. Now in her fifthyear of designing and making her own range of functional everyday leather briefcases, handbags and accessories, made by Melissa in her workshop based in London.

She uses only the finest quality leathers which are combined with eye
catching colour edging, showing off her passion for colour used in her
uniquely designed bags giving her work a stylish edge.
She regularly launches new style briefcases, bags and small leathergoods throughout the year.

September 2007 saw Melissa winning ‘Best first time exhibitor’ at the Royal Berkshire Show in the Craft Marquee.
