Jane Blease
Jane Blease Design premieres their range of lighting and interior accessories at Design Show Liverpool. JBD creates interior products that combine simple elegant forms with elaborate pattern. The company’s innovative and sustainable approach is at the core of every design: by minimising waste through imaginative and efficient material usage to utilising recycled material.
JBD continually investigates materials and technology with the aim of producing fresh and exciting products. They have developed products using Smile Plastics recycled materials made from yoghurt pots and crushed C.D’s. Due to the nature of the material each piece is individual with integral swirls and markings, and this combined with intricate floral surface etching creates beautiful aesthetics. Their lighting uses internal routing techniques that give the impression of a projection onto their smooth exterior; the permeating light creates a gorgeous warm glow.
