Artist Hannah Lobley, founder of the ecologically conscious collection “Paperwork” is setting the trend for ecologically sound design.

After accidentally leaving a book out in the rain, Hannah developed award winning “Paperwork”, a unique recycling technique using unwanted paper. The pages are transformed back into a solid wood like material. Traditional wood working methods are used to create objects from that material. The pattern of the paper when the objects are worked echoes wood grain. Wood becomes paper becomes wood.

Hannah has recently completed her first order for the prestigious London store Libertys, who will be featuring part of the collection this season.
