Susan has been producing printed and embroidered textile designs for twenty four years for clients such as Mary Quant, Top Shop, and Monsoon.

In 1999 she set up her own textile studio, ‘calico angel’, and began selling her designs in the UK and internationally to fashion houses, home furnishing manufacturers and greeting card companies.

The Liverpool Design Show will see the launch of her own personal collection.

In her distinctive illustrative style, using a combination of drawing and embroidery, she is producing a range of wall pieces, cushions and blankets depicting various themes flora & fauna, 1960’s ceramics and mid-twentieth century furniture.
